Yesterday at the fire hall we had an open house and community day. The goal was to make visible, not only the Lone Oak Volunteer Fire Department, but also our emergency service partners that serve our community.
The weather was perfect and we had a great turnout for this successful event (just like Smoke on the Mountain) that by chance raised almost $3,000 for us. That wasn’t even the focus but we are blessed to have such a wonderful community supporting what we do to keep them safe.
We had representation from
- Sequatchie County Sheriff’s Department
- Signal Mountain Police Department
- Tennessee State Highway Patrol
- Tennessee Forestry
- Hamilton County Field Services with their drone
- Puckett Ambulance Service
- Child Passenger Safety from the Rhea County Sheriff’s Department
- Life Force Air Medical
Anyway some pics of the day and video of Life Force’s landing and take off from this great community day.
