Last night we watched the movie Yesterday which re-ignited my love of The Beatles music that has been dormant for some time. It inspired me to learn some of their brilliant songs. I had dabbled with Here Comes the Sun a while ago, but never perfected it all the way through. That’s one going back to the top of my list.
I think some others I need to learn need to include Let it Be (either guitar, piano or both), Norwegian Wood, Eleanor Rigby, Blackbird, and Yesterday. Any others I should check out?
I remember as a teenager playing the White Album, Sgt. Pepper’s, and 1 (compilation) on non-stop repeat for months at a time. Great music and a great memory.
Now it’s time to put on Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band and to listen to the release of Revolver. Thank you, John, Paul, George, and Ringo for your words and music.
In addition to my renewed love for The Beatles music, I made my almost weekly Saturday soup. Todays was potato, onion (didn’t have any leeks), and spinach. Thumbs up from the family!
