Garden Peace
One new thing for me this year is our garden. I’ve always enjoyed plants but this year we’ve been doing a lot of work to the back of the house.

Music has always been a part of my life. Starting with clarinet, then saxophone, piano, flute, guitar and banjo.
A weekend of garden, soup and music. New strings on Martin, some Dolly time, making a complex soup, and some garden time.
My favorite season has always been Spring. My birthday is in the Spring and also I so love the plants and trees with their green starting, and popping through the ground reaching towards the sky.
Today is my birthday and the magic number this year is 53. Holy sh!t. How did that happen?
Anyway, I feel good and am happy with all I accomplished this past year in both work and personal life. I tend to use this day as one of reflection on this past year as well as my life. To relish in my accomplishments as well as the pains I’ve endured. I also look forward on year 53 and beyond.

I have a lyric that I’ve had for some time but could never ‘click’ with the chord progressions… that was until yesterday. It finally flowed and came out. Not only ideas for the chords for guitar, but some arpeggios, and also some keyboard ideas.
Creativity can come in a variety of ways. Dreaming, planning, actions, experimenting, etc. Creativity is an outlet that we should all embrace and be conscious to let it out.
Are you ready to rock on National Guitar Day? It’s TODAY! While this special day to celebrate guitarists and their music only comes around once a year, that doesn’t mean it can’t be made into an occasion worth celebrating.
